Board of Revision

It is the responsibility of the Board of Revision to rule on property assessment prior to the issuance of the real estate tax list. Property valuation complaints are also heard. The Auditor is the permanent Secretary of the Board of Revision which also includes the County Treasurer and the President of the Board of Commissioners.

Board of Revision - **Filing deadline**

Please be advised that the filing deadline for submitting a DTE-1 complaint AGAINST THE VALUATION form WITH THE BOARD OF REVISION is March 31, 2019 at 4:00pm per ORC Section 5715.19.

Due to the statutory deadline of March 31st falls on Sunday, we will accept complaints through the close of business on Monday, April 1st, 2019 at 4:00pm.

Our office is open Monday thru Friday from 8:00am until 4:00pm.

IF FILING IN PERSON, you must have your complaint form in the Auditor’s office no later than March 31, 2019 at 4:00pm.


IF FILING BY MAIL, your complaint form must be postmarked by the U.S. Postal Service no later than Sunday, March 31st.

DTE 2 - Complaint Against the Assessment of Real Property Other than Market Value.
